About Vornir

The story behind the name, the platform, and the people building it.

Vornir

Vornir comes from Norse mythology. In the Prose Edda, Vornir is one of the frost giants, ancient beings who represented primordial forces of nature. The word traces back to Proto-Indo-European roots where "Ver" means "to cover" or "to protect."

For a property intelligence platform, the meaning felt right. Vornir covers territory. It sees every rooftop from above and shows you where the opportunities are before anyone else finds them.

The Mission

The property services industry runs on expensive, outdated lead generation. Solar companies pay $30-50 per lead from aggregators. Tradies rely on word of mouth. Builders find out about development applications weeks after they are lodged.

Vornir exists to change that. By combining satellite imagery, public data, and intelligent scoring, we give property professionals the ability to scan any suburb in Australia and know exactly which doors to knock on. At roughly 38 cents per address, that is 45 times cheaper than buying leads from a traditional provider.

We started with solar because it is the vertical we know best. But the platform is built to expand. Vornir Trades, Vornir Build, and Vornir Property are all in development, each using the same data layer to serve different professionals.
